NEWS FLASHBookmark this page to keep current on all the latest news about Veda and trajectory-related happenings!Apologies for the long break in between news flashes here... Veda performed two very special shows on May 24 and 25 at the Vancouver East Cultural Centre, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the release of her first recording, 1992's Songs About People And Buildings. In addition to longtime bandmates Martin Walton, Barry Mirochnick and Ford Pier, Veda was joined by a horn section: John Korsrud and Henry Christian on trumpet, and Dennis Eson on trombone. The unanimous word from those who were in attendance was "phenomenal". Both performances were recorded for a planned live album (working title: Auditorium) which may be released as soon as this summer! Stay tuned for updates (we promise!). Her next performance is slated for the Vancouver Folk Music Festival on July 20. This will be a premiere of new music, featuring a brand-new video by Shawn Chappelle. This promises to be a very special night, so all those who can get there should! Order Field Study now, at vedahille.com.
