I sent Lisa a letter about how I liked her opening set in Arcata, and  just 
received the following from her:
 
Hey Tom,
    thanks for your note. i really appreciate it! i  enjoyed that tour and 
you saw a show where people listened but there were a  bunch where it was ALL 
talking thru my set, so it's good to hear someone liked  it!

jill sobule is playing there on tuesday. there's no opening act listed on the 
website yet, but maybe she'll be there again. *fingers crossed*
