Geek the Girl 2. Happiness * 3. Lullaby for Liquid Pig 3. Excerpts from a Love Circus ** 5. Slide 6. On the Way Down to the Moon Palace 7. Rare, Unusual, or Just Bad Songs Notes: * Where there was a preference for one version of "Happiness" over the other, I just used the higher ranking. You'd probably take only one of them to a desert island anyway. **"Lullaby" and "Excerpts" tied for third place. Since the sample size is only seven, there's no scientific validity to this--but perhaps that's appropriate for a list that starts with an album that starts with a song that starts with the line "I don't know much about science". I guess the biggest surprise for me was how low "Moon Palace" ranked--it's one of my favorites. This could be at least partly because I'm a big acoustic instrument fan. - ---Tom - ------- The Ectophile's Guide to Good Music: http://www.smoe.org/ectoguide/ - ------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with the message: unsubscribe sycophant If you gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of computers, they would all get AOL accounts and send unsub messages to the list address. Just go to the site, wait for the "Contents" page to show up, then wait a bit longer and "want to buy something?" will shyly appear at the bottom in unobtrusive orange letters. Click on that. - --Tom In a message dated 6/30/2004 2:35:44 PM Pacific Daylight Time, celiakeren@hotmail.com writes: hi i was wondering of any of you who has rare, unusual etc. was logged on soulseek, cos i don't have it, and last time i finally decided to buy it, it seemed like the link on lisa's site was gone. cilia _________________________________________________________________ MSN Messenger http://g.msn.fr/FR1001/866 : dialoguez en direct et gratuitement avec vos amis ! - ------- The Ectophile's Guide to Good Music: http://www.smoe.org/ectoguide/ - ------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with the message: unsubscribe sycophant If you gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of computers, they would all get AOL accounts and send unsub messages to the list address.
