I can't pick just one favorite LG release, but my list of very favorites include all of Geek, the 2nd half of Slide & most of Lullaby.... and Puppet.... and Small Heads. Recent listening by other artists: Angels of Light - Everything is good here/Please come home: Dark, insane, beautiful acoustic music. Not quite as perfect as 2001's "How I Loved You" but still pretty good. Ween - Paintin' the Town Brown, Live at Stubbs 2000 & Ween & Shit Creek Boys - Live in Toronto: 6 CDs of drug-induced insanity. Includes some great faux-country licks, but cheezy harmony vocals would really make the picture complete. Rotten Piece - Rotten Decade: This band has been releasing lots of great drone/experimental music in the last few years. This 10 CDR box set is a little rougher & more primative in spots. Patty Waters - Patty Waters Sings & College Tour - released sometime in the mid-late 60's. Half of the songs are dark, free jazz poems that range from a whisper up to a shreiking scream and back down again. The other half are some of the saddest, most beautiful love ballads I've ever heard. This stuff is really hip now :) and is readily available on CD & Italian import vinyl. ===== http://www.geocities.com/bradleybee http://www.mp3.com/bohdi __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
