Lisa and her brothers/sisters (John Germano is in fact the name of one of Lisa's brothers) used to perform together in the Mishawaka/Bloomington area back then, so it could in fact be a genuine Lisa Germano item. I will try to contact Lisa herself to try and get some information on it. There's really no point in bidding one the item if it's a fraud. I'll get back to you when I hear from her, but due to the holidays, it could be a bit tricky to receive a quick answer, at least in the next couple of days. With kind regards, Lisa Germano Online Att. Tony Rosendahl Frank Ps. If someone from this listing ends up buying it (and if it truely contains Lisa Germano material), please let the rest of us know. It would be great if that person could share the tracks with the rest of us. We would be more than happy to make room for the files at Lisa Germano Online. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Neptune" To: Sent: Monday, December 23, 2002 9:56 PM Subject: sycophant The Farmers:Dream and The Highway" > Has anyone else seen that V/A album that someone from > Germany is selling on eBay? > Does anyone have more info on this? > > Here is what the seller says: > " real collectors item for Lisa Germano Fans: The > local various artists album:"Bloomington 1979/This > Year's Crop" has two > tracks featuring Lisa Germano!:"The Farmers:Dream and > The Highway" has her on fiddle/background vocals with > her > brother/husband?? And, I must say, that version of "cowboy" that was played that night was the best version ever!
