I'll be in Pittsburgh for a wedding when she plays here in SF. In unrelated cd notes... I just dropped $108 on cd's last weekend. Lots of great stuff. I finally picked up the latest by Travis and Supergrass. Travis' singer sounds kinda like Tom Yorke of Radiohead. Supergrass know their pop. Some of the tracks toward the end sound like old Bowie to me. I highly recommend Deborah Holland's music. Some of you may know her as a former member of Animal Logic with Stewart Copeland. I saw her perform on acoustic guitar and piano in Berkeley at Rose St House (which is actually someone's home). Living room concerts are a fantastic concept. I picked up her new album, and she also has 1930's covers cd. If the 2 songs she played from it are any indication, it's a good album, too. Maybe I should be posting to the Deborah Holland list. But then, they probably know all this already. I'll shut up now.
