I think it's a worthwhile project, if for no other reason that I hope this would be something nice to do for Lisa to show her how much we care for her music -- and her. I don't think we should worry too much about royalties. We'll be making a small number of copies, and, if I understand correctly, we won't be selling them. We'll simply be distributing them to the sycophant members and, I hope, trying to get one to Lisa herself. If something happens and the CD becomes a huge hit (not likely, if Lisa herself hasn't been able to) then there are lots of lawyers who can advise us as to correct course of action to take in order to make sure Lisa is properly compensated. So, please feel free to post to the list or e-mail me privately and we can get the process going. This is something I am serious about doing and the project will get done, as long as a couple more people send songs in. I'm not sure about how to go about obtaining the original artwork (or permission to use it). If any list members know the details here, I'd be grateful if you could advise me. If it's unavailable, we can start fresh here as well.
