Sycophant is alive!!!!!!! I joined the list a few weeks ago and I thought it was kind of dead or sth. so it's really good to see it's not. I managed to buy a copy of "On the way down from the Moon Palace" in HMV in New York city. The Capitol version is kinda interesting if you're a fan, some of the songs sound a little different, the order of the tracks is completely different and there's a cover of "these boots were made for walking", yeah that song, which thankfully Lisa left of the 4ad version. There's also a short instrumental called "Breathe across Texas" and I think "Everybody's Victim" is not on the album. Does anyone know what Lisa is up to right now? I'd give the op8 album a thumbs up, it's very good indeed, some of it is kind of jazzy sounding. Don't know if that helps at all but..... Is anyone here on the Belly mailing list? how is that related, I don't know, I guess because of 4ad, or maybe just cause both are really cool.
