I fell in love with her when I heard something from "on The Way..." on the radio, in '94. Then I found a promotional copy of "Geek..." at a record sale for $6 and thought I'd try it. I find this CD to be her most angst-ridden , and therefore one of my favorites. There's something about those dismal lyrics set against a calliope background that just appeals. My faves from this CD are: Trouble, Sexy Little Girl Princess, ...Of Love and Colors, and Stars (so romantic!). I have a friend to does roller skating, the four wheeled kind, incorporating dance. When I played OP8 for her she asked me to make a tape with "Sand" and "OP8"( which is so Kurt Weil!) to take to the club where she skates, as an alternative to the drum and bass stuff they're always playing. I love the idea of these hip hop kids at the Roxy in NY skating to OP8!
