I really do not think tori has been promoted in the music world especially considering she had both The Bridge & Epic. Maybe most of the promotion came via the bridge? anyway, I think this move will have zero impact on the music b/c I don't think that other than being inspired to write songs about her strife with the industry & the trauma of it changing her mindset to think about the business end more that the label had little to do with her music. I can think of a lot of artists that are on labels and have artistic freedom. bjork is the first that comes to mind -- she did an entire album with just voices inspired by the avant works of meredith monk--and they released it!! ;) anyway - rambling and i gotta get to work in eight minutes.
