Hi, I'd love to hear some general concert descriptions. A friend of mine told me the other day something about the equipment changes onstage during the first break, and it's nothing I'd seen mentioned on the several concert reports I've read on Undented. I went to a forum last night to check a link someone showed me with photos of the LP version of ADP, and I ended up reading another lengthy thread on there start to finish, and it was literally one of the most thoroughly irritating and frustrating experiences of my life. So maybe the general details about the concerts have been discussed elsewhere, but I expect not to be trying to find them anytime soon. Does she play a certain keyboard or song at the same point each night, the way she would walk over to the Wurly for one song during other tours? That's the sort of thing I have in mind. Thanks! Be seeing you, Richard Handal, H.G. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 19 Jul 2007 16:41:21 +0000 From: "Tom xxxxx" Subject: [pt] RE: precious-things-digest V12 #50 I'll try to start some discussion What does everyone think of the set lists so far? Comments on songs performed or not performed? I think the set lists have been good overall, but they are a little samey. I know that the variety of songs played will be lower than on a solo tour, so I'm not going to complain about this too much. I think it is interesting but a little disappointing that the Dolls are covering Tori songs. I'd like to hear the Dolls do their own stuff. Why no "Girl Disappearing" yet? It's easily one of the strongest cuts on the CD. I'm not following the blogs, so it seems odd to me that Clyde is doing "Juarez." Why that song? I liked that CALS and Liquid Diamonds were played frequently at the beginning. It's a shame they've dropped off the recent sets but God remains on there. I like the song, but it's not a real favorite. I'm really hoping "Dolphin Song," "Muhammad My Friend," and "Digital Ghost" get added during the US dates. They would be great to see. And, I hope "Code Red" continues to close out the set. It's my favorite track on ADP. I wish Tori was playing "Take Me With You" with the band; I love the drums on that song. I'll be happy to hear that song in any case. Cheers, Tom M.
