(which tour would you like an official boot of most?) What do you knowledgeable people reckon - will all the bootlegs be on sale at the same time, or will the first two, and second two, be sold out by the time the last are released? (Overseas postage is nasty if you place several orders, but is good for one big order)(it's an ethical thing - happy to give money to artists, unhappy to pay postage) The site has been down all evening for me. Wonder if it is popular. Karen - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: TORI AMOS To Release Live Bootleg Series! - - ----- Forwarded message from Tori Amos ----- After years of paying top dollar for low quality bootlegs, Tori Amos diehards now have an alternative. Six live bootleg recordings are set to be released this fall. The first two releases are scheduled for an August 30th release, with four more due this fall. All six discs will be available exclusively at http://www.toribootlegs.com. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 Aug 2005 09:07:48 -0400 From: wojizzle forizzle Subject: tour three nights into the "summer of sin" and no concert reviews? for shame! ;) i'll be going to wallingford, holmdel, camden and boston if anyone wants to say hello. woj ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 Aug 2005 09:31:11 EDT From: OriginalSin24@aol.com Subject: Re: official tori boots Karen & Everyone, If I had a wish, I'd want like 2 from this tour and the rest from the Scarlet's Walk tour because she really rocked out on that tour. I know the Plugged tour was awesome...but with Scarlet the piano was more centered since the guitar was ditched, the set lists were amazingly long and there is much variety there. For solo I'd want it from this tour because I think The Beekeeper is her BEST..I've been with Tori since LE so that took me a while to make that decision. Plus I like the current stuff due to variety. The covers are nice as well, although not necessary. I do hope one of the discs contain Like a Prayer...although Madonna's a bitch about letting other people record her music. I don't know if there is any legal stuff witht that or not. Just my opinion. - -Jon ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 Aug 2005 16:04:16 +0200 From: "S p a r k ." Subject: Re: official tori boots Right. Couldn't disagree more ;) I for one really love her freakouts ;) And she seemed to do a lot more of those during the Dew Drop Inn tour. Also, I think the instrumentation and production of her recent albums and tours are rather bland, so some Plugged concerts would be amazing as well (I'm not usually into guitar, but Steve Caton really added to the songs, I think). She also did some good solo stuff during the Strange Little Tour (Black Dove). However, if releasing some older shows means Tori re-mixing them, I think I'll pass. If it'll end up anything like the 'reconditioning' of the Tales of a Librarian songs - with music stripped of any energy, intensity, fawness and emotion, and vocals without ANY effects whatsoever, then I think I'll pass.
