Hi All,So what was that last sentence in the previous thread regarding the "new book" called Tori Amos: Piece by Piece? This is the first I've heard of it. There is nothing listed on Barnes and Noble's website yet. Someone please clue me in!Thanks,Erin The most personalized portal on the Web! ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 09 Aug 2004 14:35:30 +0000 From: "Tom xxxxx" Subject: RE: [ToriTour US] An Evening With Tori Amos Woo-hoo! I got tickets, too! I had trouble using the web site, but the phone operator was fast and friendly. I can't wait for this. I wonder if this means she'll have other NY area concert dates around the same time. Anyone know? Cheers, Tom M. She said in an interview that she was planning on doing two tour legs in 2005, with the first one starting in the spring. So she could make this a part of the tour, or she could simply do it as a pre-tour warm-up of sorts. She did one of these in early 2002 in New York [1] without an accompanying tour. Since it's just her, it's pretty easy to simply fly in and do the interview. I'd prefer to see her do a book signing tour consisting of some press, visits to local radio and television stations, and maybe some in-store performances. After all, if Bill Clinton can do a national book-signing tour, so can Tori. Then she can launch into the full tour. :) /nm {who plans to be in NY for the interview again} [1] It had originally been scheduled for September 2001, but that obviously had to be changed. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Aug 2004 15:06:52 -0400 From: "Lisa Zwick" Subject: Re: [ToriTour US] An Evening With Tori Amos Yeah, I know...it's so far in the future. All I do know is, I'll skip a few classes if I have to...no way am I missing it. I've only seen Tori once, and even though it was in a smallish church, I didn't really enjoy it. I'm not a fan of huge, impersonal concerts. I hope scalpers can't get ahold of these tickets. That would really suck...even if I did order my ticket already. - -Lisa - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom xxxxx" To: Sent: Monday, August 09, 2004 10:35 AM Subject: RE: [ToriTour US] An Evening With Tori Amos > > Woo-hoo!
