What the list is about
-----------------------------
This list was started as a "spin-off" of the Sarah McLachlan mailing list,
FTE. It's a way for fans of Sarah, who live in the Midwest, to get to know
one another and plan for get-togethers without clogging up the main FTE
list. You do not have to live in the Midwest to join the list. All you need
is a devout love for the musical talents of Sarah McLachlan. ;)

How to post to the list
------------------------------
To post a message to the list, send it to midwest-fumblers@smoe.org
To subscribe to the list send an email with "subscribe midwest-fumblers"
for the body (minus the quotes) to majordomo@smoe.org
To unsubscribe, send an email to majordomo@smoe.org with the words
"unsubscribe midwest-fumblers" for the body. (Again, minus the quotes)

The Digest version
--------------------------
There is a digest version available for the list. ("Digest" form means that
instead of receiving each post from the list as separate email, you'll get
one email with a bunch of posts all banded together)
To subscribe to the digest version of the list, send an email to
majordomo@smoe.org with the words: subscribe midwest-fumblers-digest
in the body.
To unsubscribe, send an email to majordomo@smoe.org with the
words: unsubscribe midwest-fumblers-digest
To change between the regular list and the digest version, you need to
unsubscribe from one list and subscribe to the other.

List etiquette
-----------------
Midwest Fumblers is an unmoderated list, meaning there are no limitations
on what people talk about. It's fair to say, that while Sarah's not touring or
Lilith Fair is taking a break, there can be scant amounts of Sarah-related
topics and lots of off topic chatter. The only thing that's asked when you 
post
to the list, is that you respect your fellow list members. I don't anticipate
any problems, but if any arise, feel free to email me at the address
below.

What not to post to the list
------------------------------------
There is to be no HTML style mail sent to the list and there is to be
absolutely no binaries sent. These aren't my rules, but rather ones that
the owners and operators of Smoe.org ask us to abide by. Your cooperation
is appreciated in this matter!
