have subjects that lead off with:

For the most part, posts sent to the mad-mission-news subscribers will be
taken from the regular version of  the mad-mission list, of course those
being the ones that deal with Patty in a newsy matter of some sort.

By the way, if you wish to contribute a post to mad-mission-news just send
the post to mad-mission@smoe.org and if it's deemed brand new news, it will
be sent on to the news list. (being a news subscriber, you CAN at anytime
send a post or a question to the regular version of the list by sending it
to mad-mission@smoe.org)

Posts that will be sent on to mad-mission-news include posts with Patty
Griffin tour info, CD or single release info, magazine appearances, TV
appearances, reviews of Patty concerts/shows...etc
