New Album facts

• Some bad news for the new album. Because YWMFM is still gaining popularity, Atlantic doesn't want to release the new album until Pieces of You has run its course. The earliest that the new album could appear is September 1997, but that is doubtful. In May, after the tour ends, Jewel is going to be recording a new version of Foolish Games for release as the third single off of Pieces of You. Because of this, the new album will probably not be released until first quarter 1998.

• The release date for Jewel's next CD is now set for March, 1997. Jewel will finish up recording/mixing in the first two weeks of January. October 19, 1996
