I seriously considered attending, despite never having heard of them before, but ultimately decided not to. That was a huge mistake, one I regret to this day. Now that I've heard them they've become one of my favorite groups. I liked them from their first song. I can't imagine what heaven it would have been like to hear them live in concert as my first exposure to them. On Mon, Oct 9, 2017 at 9:50 PM, Tom Proven wrote: > Haha. Because that is the best album I have listened to all year. I liked her first solo album from 2006, Knives Dont Have Your Back, but this one is more melodic and even more downbeat which I love. Those of you who have been following my monthly playlists this year (if any of you actually are lol) may have noticed that I have not sent September's yetbthat's because I've been completely overwhelmed by the amount of great material that came out last month, including the Emily Haines album, and am still trying to corral it into a coherent playlist. In terms of Ecto-friendly stuff, Susanne Sunfor's is AMAZING (a best of 2017 for me for sure), Torres's is my favorite she's recorded yet (if it's fair to compare her to PJ Harvey, I'd call this one her IS THIS DESIRE?), Jhene Aiko's surprise album is on the floatier more ecto-ish side of R & B, Benjamin Clementine's is even wilder and weirder than his first, Zola Jesus's is also great. Oh, also Madeline Kenney, highly recommended. And did we talk about Nadine Shah's way back in August? That one too, lol. ~Tim On Wed, Oct 11, 2017 at 1:39 PM, Leonora Christina Skov < christina_skov@hotmail.com> wrote: > I agree with you; Daughter is fantastic!
