According to someone on eBay it IS only because he is the only seller that's listed it. (but really in fact, if you do a search on fruvous, two are listed right now and I'm sure more will pop up soon like they always do) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=881477849 So I asked a question about him advertising it as OOP and gave him a link to amazon.com to show that it's still in print from them. (I mean it is, right? I can still buy it at Media Play the last time I checked the other day.) So, I get this lovely response from this seller. First I have to cut out all the HTML codes (since he emailed a "pine" address from hotmail and didn't turn off the html) for your reading pleasure. Please excuse his bad spelling and grammar. ====================== Hi! you obviously have Too much time on your hands and oddly enough it's the only one at this time on E-BAY!!!Thanks for the info, nonetheless I do believe in getting things off ones' chest, even in a non-useful way, it does carry its' therapeutical values P.S. Do you really believe there still making this? ====================== Now I could've been a potential customer in need of a used Bargainville, but instead he just FREAKED at the sight of the email questioning the way he worded his auction. Honey, if know nothing else, the one thing I do know is that lotsa people FREAK when you challenge their world-views, and the knee-jerk reaction seems to be to try to turn it around by taking irrelevant potshots at your priorities (and, if really provoked, at your possible need for therapeutic release. ;) ) I'm amused that questioning an apparently incorrect statement and citing conflicting evidence about a 9-year-old CD could pose such a threat to --anybody--, though. I doubt it. They probably aren't doing print runs of it any more, but I'm sure there are enough copies left to keep the stores supplied for a while (as long as there isn't a big run on them). Of course I might be wrong. Vinyl was much more expensive to produce. Burning off a few copies of a CD is MUCH easier, so maybe they don't actually end production.
