How did you know I was sitting up breathlessly awaiting Jian's words? ;) Ln's right about my motivations for being interested in what he might have to say, though. Come on, we all knew he'd have a pronounced opinion -- and that if he chose to share it with his audience he wouldn't pussyfoot around the issues. That kind of political straightshooting is one of the reasons lots of us are Fruheads in the first place. It's not that we necessarily view the guys as experts or infallible, or can't think things through without them, but it is nice to hear candor instead of the spin, spin, spin that passes for news and commentary lately. Quite simply, I'd much rather read Jian's stance than, say, George Will's -- although I'll read Mr. Will just to keep tabs on any new developments within establishment thinking. (Fat chance of that, but I digress.) > I have seen sarcasm in every post since whenever this NG started with different topics. Well, not *every* post. I didn't start either of those last time! :P I'll happily indulge in a game of "you bitch", though. > Who misses the good ol' days with Chad's sarcastic > posts and advertisements? Yeah, where the hell are you, Mahoney? It's December 2 now; we need the lower-case faq posted already. ;) - -- Lori ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V5 #323 ********************************************
