The Simpsons is more on-crack than ever!! Kath who just realized we're all cross-posting this to alt.music.mp3, and isn't sure if she wants to rectify that. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 20 Oct 2001 18:25:51 GMT From: "Cap'n" <"capn"@home.com (deletethistoreply)> Subject: Re: almost no healthy sticky shirt likes powders against Chuck's urban cobbler Kath wrote: > > > > > Speaking of the Simpson's, Mike Ford must be a big fan because I've > > > head him quote Simpson's lines from the stage on a number of > > > occasions. > > > > It has gone downhill in the past few seasons, but the overall run is > >phenomenal. They have given up trying to make a plot, even the fun, nonsense ones. They have ended more episodes with quick "we got bored so decided to stop"-endings than ever. Like the grifting episode where they all start surfing at the credits. Once or twice is funny, but every episode? Please. Even the middle of the story changes on a whim (Homer telling the badger that they don't care about him anymore when discovering the town has two area codes. I enjoyed The Who as much as the next guy, but come on!). Maybe it's just me and my circle of friends, but we are all a little tired of the useless stuff. I'm only getting about 3 good laugh-out-louds out of every episode compared to maybe 10 in previous years. If I want to laugh my ass off watching a cartoon, I'll pick new episodes of Family Guy over new episodes of Simpsons any day. > Kath > who just realized we're all cross-posting this to alt.music.mp3, and > isn't sure if she wants to rectify that. > I noticed the alt.music.mp3 when I sent my last one. I decided to stop crossposting, so I've cut them out. Besides, I hate them all so much! Ok, I don't really know any of them, I just assume I hate them. Too bad we have to wait until Nov. 4 for the season premiere (and Dec. 9 for Futurama! What's the deal with that?).
