It's more of a novelty thing, really, but I do think the album is quite well-done musically. For $14 or whatever A&B Sound had it for, I have no complaints. They are a kick ass pop/rock/a bit alt country band from Minneapolis and the lead singer and drummer are these adorable Jewish brothers named Adam and Noah. It really hurts me that these guys were on a subsidiary of a major label and didn't get promoted and they have some of the best hooks this side of Matthew Sweet. I mean, they're GOOOOD! It hurts kinda like the couple times Spirit of the West came through and brought their tour bus and played to a crowd of like 15 or something at Schubas in Chicago. Man. Speaking of Schubas, can I PLEASE get some Jian or Dave out here?? Come ON!! I can NOT afford to come out there and see you jokers!*grr* Angel "Satan #81" > >Pete Yorn - musicforthemorningafter >Ryan Adams - Gold >Travis - The Invisible Band >John Mayer - Room For Squares >The Black Crowes - Lions >Ben Folds - Rockin the Suburbs >Eddie From Ohio - Quick >Radiohead - Amnesiac >The Nields - Live From Northhampton >Oysterhead - Grand Pecking Order >Jump, Little Children - Vertigo ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V5 #268 ********************************************
