I've been a fan of MF for years now and being in the UK I don't get to hear
much about the band except via this NG and now this seems to have dried up.

I know Jian has been doing some solo work but have the band split or is
there just not much going on?

Fruvous is taking a very long break and has been since September of 1999.
They played a show in Toronto in Feb of 2000, but other than that, they
haven't played as a band since.  They WILL be back, though no one knows
when.

A little later than that..I saw them in December of 99. Dave has also been 
doing solo work. Hopefully there will be a nice return sometime.
