Take a Look! Well, I know it's a bit out of the Fruvous vein, but I thought I'd mention it. There is a great online (and print) magazine called Collective Insanity that is not put out nearly enough. It has great poems, stories, pictures, and more. It's style and sense of humour is something I think most Fruheads would enjoy. I could be wrong, but really, what could it hurt you to look? The link is http://ci.clickoncanada.com Sometimes the text and background don't really align, try to grin and bear it! Cap'n of my own destiny! "A youth is to be regarded with respect. How do we know that his future will not be equal to our present? If he reach(es) the age of forty or fifty, and has not made himself heard of, then indeed he will not be worth being regarded with respect." By the way, I should mention this is fully FREE. I'm not selling anything. And for crying out loud, if you enjoy it, let the creators know. I just don't want them to fade away. Cap'n From Collective Insanity: Vanillabean Incessant furball. Determined beyond belief. You rock, my hairy friend. All orange and white, sniffing, climbing. Little flightless parrot mewing on my shoulder. Scaling me. Licking my nose when Im trying to sleep, chewing on my pen as I write. I swore I wouldn't ever patronize that yuppy-ass over-sized garage ever again after the last time paying to see Warren Zevon and not being able to actually see him (but I sure could hear the cell phones of the dot.com scum sitting nearby in between drunken shouts for "Werewolves of London" starting during Jill Sobule's opening act) and watching them force Zevon to cut his set short so they could get there p.o.s local house-band in and us out and they could get the blue-haired over-pierced crowd in so they could make a few more $ selling drinks to minors with fake ID's. Frell! This is going to take some soul-searching. Also, they have this weird thing where you can't buy tickets ahead of time -- it's all first come, first serve. Other than that, it's not a bad place to see a show. back to sleep, - -anna- "Lisa !!" wrote: > > Once I receive all the info I'll post it up on jian's site. > > Lisa Bills > www.wonderboy.ca > > >From: lightman@thwip.polyamory.org, tmbg.org@thwip.polyamory.org (at) > >(Eric) > >To: ammf@fruvous.com > >Subject: Jian @ Iota > >Date: 3 Sep 2001 23:42:25 -0400 > > > >Hey guys, > > > >Jian is supposed to be playing at Iota in Arlington, VA on Oct. 29.
