How cool is that?! There were so many people, like me, buying multiple copies of "The first 6 songs..." at FRFF last weekend I was wondering if the supply would run out. Having listened to the record a few times since Friday, I just have to say I think it's fabulous! It lives up to the progressively more polished performances Jian's been doing since I saw him @ the Rivoli in Feb. (Not saying that wasn't a good performance - just that I think his self-confidence and cohesion with the band has continually increased.) The great reception Jian & band received from the crowd @ the FRFF main stage Saturday was terrific. Bravo, Jian! Cheers! I play lots of Fruvous as well as other Fruhead-friendly groups (Eddie From Ohio, the Paperboys, Great Big Sea) plus a lot of singer/songwriters and FRFF-types (Dar, John Gorka, Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer, Gillian Welch, the Kennedys, Buddy and Julie Miller, Jimmie LaFave and others). Feedback appreciated. How was the sound quality? I don't really need a mainstage rebroadcast, but it would be cool to hear Winterhawk if the quality doesn't suck. - - Jason jason jiankillscats com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 01 Aug 2001 19:46:58 -0500 From: Keith Robert Rose Subject: "Insanity on the Airwaves" W/ GUEST TONY GOLDMARK Greetings & Salutations, Tomorrow (Thursday) on "Insanity on the Airwaves" we will have special guest Tony Goldmark with us in the studio.
