I think #Budgiedog went south when Tom and Kat moved on, because to some extent they were part of its raison d'etre. As for #mf I don't really know. I think some key people stopped coming by maybe. I know it got so that I would log on, but only have back-channel conversations because nothing much was happening on the channel itself. I imagine that was what everyone else was doing too.
