The video is Do Re Mi, shot at FRFF '00, featuring the Nields, Fruvous, and many friends. You can check it out at: www.hakmusic.com - then click on Nields videos. If you have a phone modem, you will want to save it to your hard drive first and then play it from there. It will take a few minutes to download. If you have cable, you can play it right off the page. I hope you enjoy the video, let me know what you think, Harry wishing every day could be a Falcon Ridge day, especially Mondays. ----- Posted via NewsOne.Net: Free (anonymous) Usenet News via the Web ----- http://newsone.net/ -- Free reading and anonymous posting to 60,000+ groups NewsOne.Net prohibits users from posting spam. Bob: My brother was walking to his car in the parking lot at Miami International Airport late the other night when he got back from Vegas. He saw these two scruffy looking guys check him out and start to walk in his direction. He got out the mini-stun gun I bought him, in case of trouble. The two guys started to jog straight at him! He was able to touch the first guy with the stun gun, the jerk hit the floor immediately. My brother kicked the other guy in "the family jewels", he dropped to his knees. By this time security had been alerted. They came and arrested the two jerks. You gotta check out the self-defense and surveillance products at Machesta International. They even have the "Nanny Cams" we saw on TV. Whoa. > >And did you know Jian could play bass? Well, he can! ** Melissa, I thought he looked kinda punk with that stance he took while playing bass... that was pretty classic. > And Andy seems to border on taciturn - but it's so not the case. ** Is it just me, or does anyone else think Andy looks like a cross between Murray and old-school Judd Nelson? Like, 80's Judd Nelson, post-Breakfast Club??? Maybe it was just the angle I was looking from. Maybe I should say Judd Nelson after raiding Murray's closet. Thom Yorke was brought up, and his sound did remind me of the Radiohead mixed with a bit o'Jeff Buckley sound. But without the pretentiousness most people have who sound like that. Make any sense? >Jian's Follow the Road > Introduced as the oldest new song being played, being about 1 or 2 years old >already. > Personally, I thought it sounded a bit Cat Stevens ***Remember at the solo show before Frucon how he said one of the band members said that? I'm a Cat fan (as opposed to a KatFan *wink*) and it doesn't strike me as reminiscent of Cat's work too much unless you parallel it to "Father and Son," which just means that these are 2 good songs written with the perspective of someone observing the cycle of life, Jian's through a story every verse, and Cat's with a father/son dialogue that takes place at a certina point in time where lots of "growing up" is about to happen for the son... yadda yadda... anyway! It was a fun show, and for anyone I might have told about my whereabouts on Saturday, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest was stellar. People kept asking me if I took pictures at the play, which is of course ILLEGAL, and even if it weren't, there just wasn't enough film in the world. *sigh* Angel Jenkins Satan (GO SABRES) hello to the nice people I met there by the drum kit at the second show! ------------------------------ Date: 11 Apr 2001 02:53:57 GMT From: saphiracat83@aol.com-remove- (SaphiraCat83) Subject: Fruhead Thing On DNTO For all us non-Canadian Fruheads, is anyone taping this? - -Saph *~~*~~*~~*~~*~~* "Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend.
