We saw him in New York (opening for Fr|vous 12/99) and he was terrific. He's got a sense of humor, too! And he's a very nice person - we ran into him at Loblaws last year during the con! ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 9 Jan 2001 18:28:08 +0100 From: "Kate Leahy" Subject: Re: Opening Act Dude, I'm all for Susan Werner. That FruCon 2 lineup of Susan Werner, Tory Cassis and Fruvous was legendary. I mean, Sarah Slean was there too, but she's . . . cute. And is a hell of a pianist. And her music was played on Dawson's Creek, which must count for something. Actually, come to think of it, those WB shows play awfully good music sometimes. - --Kate, off on a terrible Belgian ramble. - -- Kate Leahy kleahy@loyola.edu http://kleahy.scribble.nu Have a little faith, there's magic in the night . . . ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 09 Jan 2001 23:41:16 GMT From: Katherine Maheux Subject: Re: Videotaping at the Opera House Mike Yoshioka wrote: > > Does anyone know if they allow videotaping at this venue? I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed by Fruvous, but seeing as how it's their first show in a long time, I would clear it with both them and the venue to be sure. > With Jude not there anymore who do I talk to? :) There should be someone at the Agency who knows what they're talking about... I hope. With Jude gone it's hard to say :) It can't hurt to phone their number and ask for some information. Sarah (or her management) also managed to get her music onto 2 different Women & Songs compilations, which I find VERY impressive! You can find her featured on Women & Songs 2, and the brand new Women & Songs 4. The reason I know this is that for some reason (no idea, seriously) there's this one member of my family who buys me a Women & Songs CD every year either for my birthday or Christmas. He's even given me the same CD twice. Gah. Kath, who doesn't like the Women & Songs CDs. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 10 Jan 2001 01:21:17 GMT From: brent_miller@my-deja.com Subject: Various sizes - FruCon4 Shirts Hello all, We've had a few recent e-mails asking us if FruCon4 shirts are available in sizes other than "Medium".
