What does this mean? This means that you don't need to get a separate admission to the park. You only need to get a regular park admission. Although Northern Ontario is not listed on a map with boundries, Ontario actually has a few parts. I welcome other Canadians to debate my general knowledge of the Province that takes 20 hours to drive from eastern border to western border. Here goes my best guess of the geographics as I know them: Southwestern Ontario - Generally anywhere Southwest of Guelph Southern Ontario - Toronto and the Golden Horseshoe (the area that encompasses Niagara Falls, Hamilton, Toronto, Pickering and Kingston (around Lake Ontario) stretching as far north as Georgian Bay and the Muskoka's Eastern Ontario - East of Kingston to Ottawa and to the base of Algonquin Park. Northern Ontario - North of Georgian Bay. Draw a triangle from Parry Sound to Sault Ste. Marie then up to Hudson Bay. Northwestern Ontario - That frickin enormous part that is left between Sault St. Marie and the Manitoba Border all the way up to Hudson Bay How to tell which part of Ontario you are in: Southern Ontario The distance between cities/towns - About as far as you can throw a rock The names of the cities/towns - named after British places and famous British people. With the exception of exotic names like Toronto and Ottawa. There is at least one shopping mall with more than 200 stores within 50 miles Northwestern Ontario - Distance between cities/towns - At least 100 miles The names of the cities/towns - Have character - Kapuskasing, Wawa, Weenusk, Trout Lake, Pickle Lake, Ghost River, Moosanee etc. Thereis at least 1 outdoor shopping mall with more than 10 stores and a Zellers within 250 miles. The others are somewhere in between. Exactly - what is the cost if you just want to walk around the park and go to the show? (not all of us want to or are able to ride the rides). Is canadian money accepted at par at the gate? Or should I buy a discount ticket at Tops if it isn't? You can tell that the last time I went to Darien Lake was like 1994.
