I have just downloaded the software, installed it, followed the instructions, and whenever I try to register, I am told I have an invalid password. I have tried making an alternate account, with the same problem. I am posting this question here because this is where I was originally told about Napster, so please don't flame me - I am hoping that somebody here can help me out... - -- -Bill ========================================================== ========================================================== "Once you take over the world, what are you going to do with it?" ========================================================== ========================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 28 Apr 2000 06:04:55 GMT From: Ofer Inbar Subject: server move this weekend The time has come for our office to move, and since the place I want to move thwip to permanently isn't ready yet, thwip will have to move with the rest of the office this weekend. The schedule is currently that everything will be shut down on Friday after 5pm, and brought back up at the new office during the course of the day on Sunday. So, during this time, the ammf gateway will be down. Any email you send to ammf@fruvous.com after thwip is shut down on Friday evening, will not be posted to the newsgroup until sometime after thwip comes back on Sunday. For the news->mail side of things, the whole weekend's worth of new postings will probably get mailed out in one fell swoop on Sunday evening or afternoon sometime. [For those of you who are also EFO fans, http://edheads.efohio.com/ is also on thwip and will therefore also be down for the weekend.] -- Cos (Ofer Inbar) -- cos@polyamory.org http://cos.polyamory.org/ -- WBRS (100.1 FM) -- info@wbrs.org http://www.wbrs.org/ "We're a bunch of geeks, and so is our audience. Plus, there are going to be a few Fruvous shows this weekend and I thought it would be a great way for people to communicate with each other. I decided to take down the Message Board that I had up for Dave's Birthday and put another one in it's place (similar to the Ji-Spot's board). I spoke to Dave about this and he thought it would be a cool way to keep in touch with fans considering he doesn't do the "post show thing" very often. If anyone has anything to say about Dave's performances at the shows, would like to thank him for something, or just rant and rave about the man it would be great if you could do it there. (BTW, I've reposted the messages that were put up from March to April ). He WILL be checking in from time to time. ;) Thank you and have a great weekend!! Well, tomorrow night, when I take the picture from the website with Fru and Al to get autographed, maybe I can inquire about it.
