So I entered this contest at the New Park Website for free tix to both the 4/19 and 4/20 shows..and I won! But it turns out that despite my best attempts, there's no way I can make it to the Delaware show on Wednesday (::grumble grumble:: job) I tried to give them away to people I know, but most people I know live a good 4-5 hours from Delaware, and aren't as...uh...*fervent* as some of us are ;-) Anyway, the first person to e-mail me asking for them, gets them. I'll just give them your name, and the tix'll be waiting for you at the door! You just have to promise you'll really use them, and post a review afterwards ;-) ~jen exactly three weeks before this sig file becomes obsolete... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Nobody likes you when you're 23"-- Blink 182 "Do you know that you are very strong?"-- Grover "Measure your life in love."--Rent ------------------------------ Date: 16 Apr 2000 13:03:29 GMT From: bbwminors@aol.com (BBWMinors) Subject: Birchmere is a-coming!!! Any kids??? Hey there all ... The Birchmere date (May 3) is fast approaching and I was wondering if anyone else was planning on bringing littler Fru-fans to take advantage of one of the few clubs that does NOT have a 21-and-over policy ... I'll be there with husband and daughter, Dana the Fru-Princess ... figuring on getting there early (box office opens at 5 for will call pickup so that sounds about right) and since it will be long wait, I'm thinking that GameBoy and books and diary along may keep her somewhat occupied, but if she can make new FruFriends that would be even better ... Of course, thanks to last summer's Borders gigs she already has some older "friends" among the area Fruheads and has asked me to post that she's really excited about seeing them again!!!!! (Anna, Mindy, Amy, Val and the rest of you know who you are) ... Songs she's hoping to hear include "Green Eggs and Ham," "Misplaced" so she can find out who plays piano since Dave is on violin, and "Fell In Love" (that school on fire song, as she calls it). She will also be at the Herndon Fest show ... I will be solo at RamsHead and found great little cafe/wine bar down the street if anyone wants to join me pre-show ... also planning on going to the Vault solo so if anyone is going up from DC or Maryland suburbs or Northern Virginia (where I work) and wants to car pool let me know. Looking forward to seeing everyone again! Hooray for ShoreNet! Even if they did get bought out, it seems they'll still support the good stuff! Howdy, folks.. Many thanks to Josh-me-Laddie for his continued efforts to get and keep FHDC online, but it appears that he's still $100 in the red. If you use FHDC, help to keep it up and running with a small donation. It's not fair to Josh to make him not only check it, update it, keep it a viable resource for us all AND have to fork over the bucks to keep it running. A little Frü-responsibility on all our parts would make him a smiling human again. Go to http://www.fruhead.com , check at the bottom of the main page for the blue 'donations' link, then send whatever you can, be it a penny, a dime or a dollar to Josh in appreciation for his continuing efforts on all our behalf. He's not looking for profit, but just to break even. It's just the right thing to do. Look for Robin and Kelsey at Mays Landing on Thursday (kidnapped by Shannon and Karen), and all 4 of us (yes, 19-year-old Sara's going to be de-früginized) at Irving Plaza on Friday. (Robin will be in her Leafs jersey..to give The Lads a little taste of home..) Stop on by and say H'lo! I've already emailed twice and haven't had a response yet on to where to send the donation. Christine. *^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* - --Diet soda? - --No thanks. So if you're out there Josh, and are in need for funds to maintain fhdc, please let me know where I may mail the check. Thanks!
