I hope some of you caught the Sarah Slean show last week in Toronto. Sarah, sadly, was unable to sing due to laryngitis, but her friends stepped in to pick up the slack and perform her songs - including the one and only Dave Matheson who sang "Habit." Tory Cassis also played that night - performing on trumpet in Sarah's band and singing "High." Tory is on the road again this week. He will be opening for Sarah Slean across Canada in the next 2 weeks. And a special treat for those of you who've only seen him play solo... he and Sarah are sharing a band. Ok, I just want to say that when i saw Tory in NYC a couple of weeks ago (1/20)It was super-duper-alice-cooper. I know he's probably scared to death of me now but that's all besides the point - i had a great time and i would definitely say that you should all try to check him out.
