But >whenever >I read about the Keswick (like the post that ^kat^ had about the pictures) or >The Drinking Song, I cringe. I just want to get over that. Your friends were just being stupid newbies and ... :) Seriously, they -- and obviously you -- intended no harm, they just didn't know that they were choosing really bad timing. (Not that throwing things at a show is ever a good idea, but again ... inexperienced enthusiasm.) But please don't let some months-old rebuking of *someone else*'s antics keep you from having a good time -- or enjoying the Drinking Song -- or even from remembering the Keswick as a rocking good show. I think that's how others who were there remember it -- even those who were disturbed by the glowy necklaces or the dancing or any other little annoyances. Hey, no experience is perfect, and I can't imagine anyone's holding a grudge about those things. I hate to think you've been feeling bad about that one moment all this time, or that it's clouded your enjoyment of a song or anticipation of future shows. - -- Lori Glitter Fairy/Tattooing Fru ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 28 Jan 2000 22:38:52 -0500 From: "Sam-I-Am" Subject: Hunt for the Dangerous Pork Tenderloin Does anyone happen to be brave enough to work on..or have already started working on getting the chords for Pork Tenderloin? I was standing on the stage in a small local theatre for an open mic night and I lost my mind set for songs that I was going to play! arg....so I stated thinking about the show at the Ark...god only knows why....and I was thinking about Mike's Bowie cover.,...and hence...I had something to play! Sousa... forever known as "S&S" to State Fair Band members) on *My* reeds. :) Top that, sax players! :) ciao, donna ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 28 Jan 2000 23:04:35 -0500 From: "^kat^" Subject: Re: Hunt for the Dangerous Pork Tenderloin "Sam-I-Am" wrote : > Does anyone happen to be brave enough to work on..or have already started > working on getting the chords for Pork Tenderloin? umm... i'm pretty sure there's not a lot more to it than G-C-D-G: "many brave men have fallen, their brothers to"--G "join . . . in the"--C "hunt for the dangerous pork tender"--D "loin"--G and, of course, the verses. have fun ^kat^ "i was stunned and heartbroken..." http://fly.to/the.midway.after.dark ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V4 #54 *******************************************
