I though "Hmmm soldiers, boy with bloated belly, piece of cake!". But then I thought and thought and reminiced and decided that it may not be about war and poverty. That's what I interperted as when I first listened to it but now I'm not too sure. The line about "Country Rain on a City street has me a bit confused. It thought that maybe it represents a casual, dreary, yet beautiful situation in a complex area. A country rain usually brings about prosperity and comfort but rain on a city street can be disasterous and causes things to look awful (ugly puddles in the middle of the ashphalt that crack up the road).
