OK, I'm jumping into this thread *way* late but: >>Does anyone remember "Hey Dude?" That show was so stupid but I loved it.<< yas! Oh my goodness, I was mildly obsessed with that show. I had such a crush on Jake ;-) (I was like 17, mind you-- not some gushy 12 year old ;-) Does anyone rememebr, from the real old-skool Nick shows, "The Third Eye"? That show scared the crap out of me when I was like 8 ;-) And how they used to have these magic tricks in between the shows, where they'd show you how to do them afterwards. But it was just a pair of gloves that did it. Remember Picture Pages? ;-) And did no one mention that the mouse on Today's Special could only talk in rhyme? And how Pinwheel went on for like *4 hours* a day,. and spawned that unbearably annoying "gotcha last" game? And, now veering from Nick altogether, oes anyone remember "Tribes"? It was like the pre-cursor to 15 on Fox, the "teen soap." It was on in like '88/'89. I was in 7th grade, and we would all watch it, and spend recess analyzing the whole show ;-) sorry to unleash all that on you at once, but I've spent the better part of an hour reading all your posts, storing up everything for this one ;-) ~jen (who agrees that Alistair was a cutie ;-) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Nobody likes you when you're 23"-- Blink 182 "Do you know that you are very strong?"-- Grover "Measure your life in love."--Rent ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Jan 2000 00:29:55 -0500 From: "^kat^" Subject: Re: did someone say *You Can't Do That On Television*?
