I had to come out of my five month posting haitus to put this problem of logic to you - The band grew up in Southern Ontario - so would that make them fake Canadians? Then would they therefore not understand their own songs? I wonder how they wrote them; they must be rather confused. I mean, I have a feeling that some Americans *don't* understand (to the same extent) the Canadian sentiments expressed in some songs, but to say we *can't* understand? Come on now, I think it's safe to say there is political dischord and environmental problems in every country. We may be Americans, but we're not *that* blind! Do you forward through Sahara (last time I checked, the Sahara was not in Canada) or Michigan Militia? (Though I did just read an article about how Mike Harris apparently sees Michigan as more of an ally to Ontario then the rest of Canada...) It's the major airport.
