From what I've picked up, a fishgirl is a fawning fangirl (feel that aliteration!) (never mind that I can't spell it) that gets all gibbery when talking to her favorite lad (and not to generalize, but he's usually Jian) and usually pouts when he doesn't make an appearance after a show. I find that i skip songs because of my mood. I always try and play music that either compliments or contrasts the way i'm feeling. Consequently i find that I often skip large portions of YWGTTM, not because i dislike *any* of the songs, but because they dont follow the mood. I very rarely skip the same songs, and there are no songs which i skip on a regular basis In contrast, When I'm listening to thornhill, i find that i rarely skip anything, because, when i'm feeling thornhilly, everysong on the album works for me since the album itself has a distinct mood. What's odd is that I like the moodless albums more, because they keep me paying attention. On the same note, I sometimes skip my favorate songs for one of two reasons. 1) if , like i said before, it doesnt fit my mood. or 2) if i'm using the music as background music. When i'm using it as background music, i feel like i'm not giving the sacred song enough respect. Solem, Genna ~~~~~~~ "Ford, you're turning into a penguin. It's allowed me to realize how, overall, MF really does a bang-up job. And as for lurking band members, I don't think that's an issue. I'll bet they're secure enough to be OK with criticism--when you get reviews in the paper, you've gotta be. Besides, I'm *sure* they have songs they're sick of, or hate performing! I picked one song from each album, except for Thornhill, on which I chose 1.2 songs...remember, just because I'm saying that a song is my "least favorite" on an album, doesn't mean that I dislike it! It just means that I like every other song better! BVille: Stuck in the 90s. Well, I do like this one, but it's my least favorite on the album (I like them all so much!)
