Erm, you too, eh? I found the venue all right (thanks to a Harrisburg yellow pages and a phone call from my crash space), but getting back to 83 was a different story. Mistake 1: Don't look for the road you came in on, ESPECIALLY if you happened to notice that it was a one-way street (which I didn't!). Mistake 2: Don't assume that Harrisburg has any good signs for 83, even if it is a major highway connecting the city to other PA citites. Mistake 3: If you see a sign pointing you to turn left at an intersection, don't take that to mean that turning left will get you any closer to 83. I drove around, and *eventually* found 83, but only after driving out of downtown, then back into downtown, and looping several times due to the one-way streets :) The only good thing that came of all that was the fact that I was doing 50 in a 25 zone, and suddenly realized I was driving that immediately in front of one of the city cops. Luckily, he didn't pull me over :) - --Novac ------------------------------ Date: 19 Nov 1999 12:14:11 GMT From: fruwench@aol.com (FruWench) Subject: Re: Brand-New Fruhead definition! >Well ma mother tounge is german and the word FRÜHEAD would be rather >FRÜHKOPF and that maens early-mind. Surprise! Guess who was on Good Morning Philadelphia!? My favorite band! Yay! They talked briefly about the meaning of Fruvous...Jian (with shorter hair since last I saw him...) said it was Latin for vocal inflection. Dave introduced himself as "The ever exciting Dave" I agree :) They then cut the show to traffic, interviewing some woman who won one of their contests, then another woman who won a different contest...then more weather and traffic...then Tony Orlando....then more weather and traffic....then.....Fruvous! (my, my were the newscasters having trouble saying that--but they seemed to get a kick out of the guys, and genuinly enjoy their music.) They played Half As Much. Sidenote....Murray was wearing Lizzie McCow's now-infamous shirt! It was the best view I'd ever had of it...and you're right Lizze, that shirt is wild, in a subtle way....much like Murray himself.
