Granted, it is a drawing, and thank Allah for that. I don't know I could have handled a real picture. A friend and I often discuss how changed the lads look in in style compared to their early years. We have a theory that they were critiqued by a "stylist." Someone who came in and said, "Murray, cut the hair and wear unique polyester shirts. Dave, shave the head. Jian, lose the facial hair, but put in some blonde streaks. Mike, keep the black jeans, keep the facial hair, and wear shades. Do this and you guys will be *stars*!" Of course, this is just a theory and we remind ourselves that guys are creative individuals and have probably cultivated their own images. AND! we think they look great any ol' way! But still, isn't it suspicious that their sense of style is IMproving with age when most people's sense of style degrades or, for some, completely disappears? - --Tracey ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 15 Oct 1999 14:24:22 GMT From: netone1@mail.com Subject: INCREASE YOUR SALES WITH YOUR OWN BULK E-MAIL TOOLS I am sure that you have gotten some e-mail advertisements since you have been online, some crazy offers and some with good offers. I remember sometime in the summer, somebody (oh, yeah, I remember all this *so* well) brought up requesting Fruvous on WRNR. I called last night, or actually this morning, during the midnight shift show, and the DJ, Craig, who is my hero now more than ever before, played "Earthquakes"! He said he'd pick something off Thornhill for me, since it was the new one, but that he really hadn't had much time to "explore" it yet (I proceeded to gush about it). He also called them "The Fruvoids" on the air, which amused me to no end (hey, it was 1 AM). BTW, for anyone who hasn't heard it, "Earthquakes" sounds really weird on the radio -- all the background noise makes it sound like you're getting interference from other stations. Although RNR reception sucks, so maybe that was happening, too. Carey "Who do you think you are? During the break, we decided to play with the machines in Studio A and hope that nothing exploded. She didn't have any tapes or anything with her, but I had a tape of long GEH that I had been trying to listen to all day with no success.
