(maybe) I just e-mailed our local rock station asking them to play fruvous and they said that they may be adding the latest single to their regular playlist. I normally don't listen to that particular station but I may have to change my listening habits. Incedently, when I showed my brother the reply he looked crushed and said "Excuse me but I have to go to Grande Prarie and get a petition to keep that band off the air." I got my healthly laugh requirement for the day and decided to add another possiblity for my DRIFT: - -hear a fruvous song on local radio. - -- Cara (Laika) Kozack "It's a reference to a _____ that you've never even heard of by\in a _____ that you probably don't even like." Yes, the Moxy Fruvous World Cafe session from The Point in Bryn Mawr WILL be aired both locally and nationally this Friday, despite our fund drive, which starts on Thursday. We don't customarily air World Cafe sessions during fund drives, but we decided to make an exception for Moxy Fruvous. Most exciting of all, YES you can now listen to World Cafe on the Web! Anyone who cannot be by a radio this Friday (or any day, for that matter) should go to our website (http://www.worldcafe.org) for information on how and where to hear World Cafe on the web. Thank you all for your support, and we hope you enjoy the show! - -Jeff, wc staff ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V3 #864 ********************************************
