However, if Record Theatre doesn't have any in stock, they could order them or call another store and have the item transferred. ACK!! I think I worked there waaaaaaay too long. =) If you don't see it, always ask the nice ppl who work behind the counter or just call them. ;-) Christine. - -Chrissy_K on irc ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* You know how you always see single shoes on the side of the road and always think "What kind of idiot loses a *shoe* right in the middle of nowhere??" Record Theatre should have them... perhaps they were just out of stock. Look in the "Rock" section, or ask at the desk. New World records also has a large stock of Früvous... they're a good place to look. - -Paul Mischler AngelCL7@aol.com wrote: > I need to know where I can buy some Moxy Fruvous CDs. Grrrr!) because it's in the more mellow Wood mode. Personally, I can't wait to hear it, since I think its a more mature side of Moxy F that will bring out their incredible talent. In my (again not so humbler) opinion, when the boys do a fast Green-Eggs-and-Ham/KoS/Pisco number, a lot of their tight harmonies and playing gets lost... sacrificed to the joke. I *do* think it's a phaze, though not as the reviewer does. I think Moxy will put out funnier CDs in the future. Thornhill is not out-loud funny, and I personally think that's nice (for now) . - --- This reminded me of something i stumbled across on FDC, and thought I'd quote it in response: Jean: And we also see this as a long-term project, Moxy Früvous, and we hope it keeps changing, and so wood was a view of where our heads were at, where our hearts were at the 1994-5 juncture, when we wrote these songs. We hope, we expect that fans of ours will catch on to the fact that Früvous is always going to be something that changes, that keeps morphing into something else, with the commonalty that it's always us, our voices, with a focus on the vocals, as it always has been, but it'll keep changing. - ---- This was an exerpt from an interview by Josh Cragun that was published in the now defunct Present Tense Fanzine, August 1995. Reading this before really struck a chord... and Thornhill is just another example of the band's ever-changing mindsets... :^) Never let it be said that Fruvous CD's are carbon copies of each other... - --Angie, saying a whole lot of nuthin They say that the Road to Hell is paved with good intentions... well, at least it will be a smooth ride - --me ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com. ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V3 #654 ********************************************
