It was nifty. It sure was. I'd like to mention that it wasn't George, but the illustrious Phil Schwan who sat down and actually *figured out* the parts for Gulf War Song. Although I'm sure George is capable, I think during the period before Frucon, he was occupied by... other things ;) I thank both George and Phil for not getting too annoyed at us and for repeatedly getting us back on key during that practice session :) hKath - -- "A handful of Jergen's doesn't count as experience." - Goats Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. I couldn't set up space in front of the stage because Gindy wasn't too interested in getting there at 5:30 a.m. for a spot ... she doesn't understand that sometimes you have to suffer to have fun. haha! :) While sitting on a black blanket waiting for the mainstage show as the sun reached its zenith, I told her about the icy waits for the Bottom Line and Lee's Palace shows. What about Careless Santa? :) Um... yeah, I was at the TMBG show in New York last week and ran into a decent number of Fruheads there... there's a reason I wear Fruvous shirts to TMBG shows and TMBG shirts to Fruvous shows. :) But depending on why a person likes Fruvous or TMBG they may or may not like the other. Plenty of TMBG fans who aren't that into their folky stuff (which, granted, is less common on their albums now) aren't going to appreciate Fruvous, and Fruheads who aren't that into rock might not like TMBG that much... I do think there'll be more overlap from the TMBG side, though... as in, more TMBG fans who like Fruvous than the other way around. The Saturday night crowd left lots of litter all over the area in front of the main stage. We figure it was mostly Aniboppers who just came for the day and weren't there on Thursday and Friday nights, 'cause things were much cleaner then. Two of my group got up really early on Sunday morning to get a good main stage spot, like at 5:30, before the volunteers even got up. They were told they could keep their spots (instead of having to clear out and wait for the 8am land grab) if they cleaned up. My friend Esther told me that among the things she found while they were working over the hillside that morning were a pair of beer cans in a bag of ice, unopened (she gave them to someone who wanted to drink them), and an unopened condom :) Michykith wrote: > Lizzie reflected upon... > > Katryna and Dave C.'s *engagement* anouncement!!! > > Is this true?
