Well, you shouldn't be ashamed at all!!! Sesame Street is just to good not to love... and then there is Pinky and the Brain, I mean where else would you get to hear "I think so Brain, but who would want to Pierce Brosnin(sp)" or such script writing gems as "Narf, and Poit!" - --00-- Life101 --00-- A big PatB fan "It must be raining, cause a man ain't supposed to cry" -They Might Be Giants - -=( mental.nu/~life101| ICQ#39307347 )=- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 07 Jul 1999 22:25:03 +0000 From: "ellen p. buckley" Subject: Re: We are getting very picky these days. I think the original batch are finished. They were originally printed by Victoria, but I haven't seen a post from her in a few months. On FDC you can find the picture she used - don't remember if this was her creation or someone else's. If you want to get creative you can print that picture out and create your own. I know Adam was trying to design another 'net fruhead pin a while back but the idea seemed to die. This is *not* the pin that was the prize for 3 stamps on the Frühead card - this is something ng users came up with and distributed among themselves as a way of finding each other. (It took Lori what.. 2 months? to get the Homicidal > Flamingo title) Although it doesn't always work like that, I've been around here (well, mostly IRC), since not long after YWGTTM came out, and I can only remember being an injoke, Spruce Spice... (don't ask). Although maybe the whole me being an anti-social b*stard part has something to do with that... And while I think of the whole Spruce beer thing, it gets me thinking of TONYE where it started (Toronto New York Eve, or... if I remember correctly... the *cough* F*ck Früvous Group... *cough* we were kidding, really... :) and that gets me thinking off two Q's I was going to post a while ago, but forgot about completely until now. 1) The TONYE quote list, wasn't that supposed to go up somewhere? With some gems like "Get down on your knee's and suck it out of the carpet," I'd like to see it sometime :) 2) Sorta back on the topic of in-joke... I'm there sitting by the kitchen, and there are too people in there (I wish I could remember who, but my mind is a blank right now, I think Norg was one of the two). And suddenly they burst out lasting for at *least* five minutes... I think it's about time to tell... What's the joke?!? The only way to get people to spell my name correctly is to say, "Carey, like Mariah Carey." When I was in seventh grade, she hadn't become big yet, and about ten people signed my yearbook with messages to "Carrey" or "Carriey." Even now, I'm interning at a local tv station, and my first onscreen credit went to "Carrye." Carey (also like the Joni Mitchell song, but fewer people can relate to that) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 08 Jul 1999 03:54:15 GMT From: Frumanchu Subject: RE: The AMMF Profile Time to come out from my hiding place again...
