Huh. That IS odd........ What version of netscape are you using? That could have something to do with it...... I know, though, that the newer versions... and netscape commincator... seem to be set up to let you post whatever you'd like. Although, now that I think about it, I seem to remember the early versions not allowing you to post less than you quote. I'd say just go ahead and snag a new version of netscape.... you'll be happy you did anyway... and hell, it's free if you're a student! (and if you're not, I'm sure someone who is can give you a copy...) As far as changing preference settings..... I'm really not sure.
