But I was suffering from the dangerous combo of boredom and insomnia the other night, and I decided to recast Fruvous as the Monkees (please don't hurt me). Am I the only one who thinks it would be really cool to see this? Of course I am, but that's never stopped me before! I want to see Dave don a wool hat and sing "What Am I Doing Hanging Round?," and Mike grow his hair into a scary afro-thingy and sing "Mommy and Daddy," and Murray don a dashiki and sing "Merry Go Round" (probably no one else has heard this, but it's a very depressing little Peter tune; sample lyrics: "it was just a toy, all it brought was joy"), and Jian do little Davy dances with maracas and a tambourine and sing "I Wanna Be Free."
