Camping at PFF is NOT a great experience! 20,000 people crammed into so little space you don't have room to breathe, no showers, not enough few porta-potties (of course, nuff said about porta-pittoes), tents so close together the tent stakes get tangled, and there is no room to walk between them. And if you are unfamiliar with the grounds, you will never find you own tent in the dark. And plan on running herd on children. The camp grounds can be dangerous after dark. I have a friend on security and the stories I have heard about wild parties, and drugs are really scary. I mean hard drugs. I'm not a toffee-nosed-snit, but I draw the line at cocaine and heroine.
