If I remember correctly, you live in the Midwest. If that's correct, you might not be able to get a Worms' cd any other way except by ordering through them. They're not distributed in the US to my knowledge, therefore, picking up an EFO cd may be the best plan. I know EFO's latest has major US distribution at any rate. Hope this helps, although I wish I could just tell you to run right out and purchase the Worms' Live Bait too...ah well, can't have everything I guess. They are incrediblely great and wonderful people making incredibly great and wonderful music. If you haven't given them a chance, you are definitely missing out on some talented people. Eddie is one of the most talented percussionists I've seen and Julie's voice is great as well. Then there's Clem jokes which Adam would appreciate a lot. Something for everyone, that's Eddie from Ohio (from Virginia). Definitely definitely recommended. - Chad ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 09 Jun 1999 09:40:30 -0500 From: Chad Maloney Subject: Re: Poll: Should I play King of Spain at my wedding? Grunge of Spain? That's on Live Noise which can be easily and promptily purchased through any of the various links on: http://www.fruvous.com/merchan.html There are 5 released versions of "King of Spain" that I know of. - - Indie Tape (Habs call me up, Spanish National Orchestra, Bush) - - Bargainville (Leafs call me up, International Orchestra, Clinton) - - Live Noise (intro recorded in a different place than the performance *g*) - - Grunge of Spain from Live Noise (this is the thick U2-ish one that uses the indie tape lyrics. Called Cranky Monarchs version on Live Noise) - - Cal's Brother's Dance Remix (don't know where this is available. There are some decent live tapes with this on it though I think) Josh was talking about the Dance Remix which has been played after some shows. I first heard it New Years Eve in Niagara Falls. I've also heard it at the 10/30/98 NoHo show, the 11/??/98 Buffalo show, and at Lee's Palace this past February. - Chad ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 09 Jun 1999 14:42:28 GMT From: iflyswa6406@my-deja.com Subject: Happy BDay Chrissy, Jian and Barry Happy Birthday Chrissy! Camping is a GREAT experience: I've camped 19 of the 20 years I've gone. The year I had a 6 week old baby, a motel seemed as if it would be better - it was not. Motels ARE NOT close, they're expensive, fill-up early; resulting traffic on all the back roads is horrible, and the concert area is closed 6-7:30pm so you have pick up all your stuff , schlep out to your car (which could be so far you must take a shuttle), OR retreat to your Phriendly Pholk Phest campground. True, one DOES miss the lovely amenities like showers and flush toilets, but, hey, they put gel sanitizer pumps next to the Port-O-Lets last year! My 6 week old baby is now 9, going on 10, and she wouldn't miss the Fest for the world! She has the run of the place with all her little friends. And I don't know why someone said there's no dancing, there's LOTS of dancing and one area is completely devoted to it. Available food is great. Camping at the Festival seems to be a truly love/hate thing - I'm one of the people who love it. Anyone going to Fruvous concert in Virginia Beach? During Fruvous's main stage set, a group of Fruheads that were sitting on the large lawn behind the seats wanted to get up and dance and the festival people wouldn't let them. This may have changed recently though. That was just my experience from the 1997 festival when Fruvous played there. Your mileage may vary. Because of the low investment, you can expect an %80 response and high profit potential. On a blank sheet of paper write your name and address and e - -mail address, then send it to the person on the list below. (Only the first person gets your $20) 2. Remove that person from the list and move the second name to the #1 position. Then move the person in #3 position to the # 2 position. 3. Add your name and address to the list in the #3 position. 4. E-Mail or hand out to at least 25 people (with your name added) . DO IT RIGHT AWAY!! That's all there is to it. When your name reaches the first position in about a week or so, it will be your turn to receive the loans. You can expect about 2,000 people like your self who are willing to invest $20 to receive $10,000 or more. Unlike other plans with 5 or 6 positions, this one has only three.
