I can't. a) It was the first musical I ever saw. b) my friend Dave was Rum Tum Tugger before going to Annie Get Your Gun with Bernedett Peters (I LOVE HER). It was wonderful watching him pick swooning women from the audience and the whole time I was thinking "haha! he already has a boyfriend from the cast." c) My mom's name is Memorie. My sis is an Opera singer. My answering machine at home sang "Memorie, can't come to the phone now, you may try at her office, 3810502 (0's pronounced 'zero'), if you'd like to leav a message after you hear the tone, and we'll try hard, to get back to you. The Heebee-jeebees (correct spelling, BTW) premiered the song two months ago at the Olympia regionals of the American a cappella tournament the Harmony Sweepstakes. It's called "Use The Force." If we all ask nicely, maybe they'll put it on their next album when they record another... :) They do have two we (Mainely A Cappella) carry, one which is mostly doo-wop covers and the other which is Xmas, plus appear on the Northern Harmony and Harmony Sweepstakes compilations of last year, but they've been hinting at a new more-originals album for a while. The group's been doing a LOT of originals lately (my favorite, which is called "The New Song" because they can't think of a name for it, is all about being required to sing a cappella standards over and over...). They were asked weeks ago to open the show on the 19th (Ken, one of the tenors, was in Vancouver for business so he was in the Vancouver studios and the rest were in Calgary). Of course, *I* forgot to turn on the radio. And for once in a blue moon, I was actually up at that hour! *sigh* : Arbie (who really thinks these guys are great and isn't trying to : score brownie points with Jessika...but will take them anyway :-) ) Brownie points scored.
