I'd been sort of thinking on that, too, since the "elements" discussion - and pretty much come to the same conclusion as I had with that one. To me, each of the guys seems so versatile (as I'm sure each of those *other* guys was) that it's difficult or nigh-impossible to pin them down to only one correspondence. Long ago, someone theorized to me that the reason the Beatles worked so well together was that each of them personified one of the 4 elements (I forget which was which in this person's explanation). I'll buy that, sure, and I think the same is true of Früvous. Each of them knows exactly what part of the "mix" to supply at any given time. But the mix just seems to be constantly changing, and so does each member's role. k@ still trying to come up with elemental correspondences of my own, though ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Mar 1999 13:59:14 GMT From: Frumanchu Subject: Another weird Fruvous Dream I wish I could remember all of this, but this is the SECOND time I've had a dream about actually performing with the guys. We were in this old 60's looking high school auditorium. We were all backstage in this little closet of a dressing room, enjoying a little boo or something. Then I think I found out my dad had died or something, but before I could get upset about it, the guys started thanking me profusely for showing up to perform with them. So I felt really good and forgot that my dad had died. Then we all go out onto the stage. Mike and I both took acoustic guitars and Murray took one of those Spanish castanette(sp?) things. It was a completely unplugged show. We started this really weird version of Sahara. It was then that I realized two things: One-No matter what I sang, I'd be in unison with one of the guys and it would sound funny...and Two-I could hear all four of them, but every time I looked over (I was where Dave usually is) I could only see three. It was as if there could only ever be four people performing as Moxy in any one universe. I'd look over and think "Mike's not there" but then I would shift focus and see him and someone else would phase out. Then I woke up. Weird, huh? Phil, not sure what it all means....
