I just have a little question for anyone who knows the answer. It seems as if FDC is unable to be changed for awhile (so a close friend tells me) but in the interim has there been any additions to the itinerary? I'm thinking like April or May gigs. You see my mother just read me a little snipet about Moxy being in Utica on April 30 at the Rainforest Preserve, yet I've seen no mention of it here and that is a bit unusual. Any help is appreciated since I rely (as I'm sure many of you do) on the postings of gigs on line as the US postal service seems a bit slow with any updates from Fruvous and there are always many additions/changes in between. Thanks in advance. Get CDRWin from www.goldenhawk.com Honestly, this is one of the few shareware products that I actually decided to buy and love it. It's much more flexible than Adaptec which I also have. The big difference for me is that with CDRWin, I can easily control the gap between tracks (or have none, very handy for live concerts). You may be able to that with others but by default Adaptec puts a 2 second gap between tracks, and if you can change that, its well hidden 'cause I've looked. Plus they update their software regularly and you get free updates for a year. Also look at CoolEdit for editingyour audio files. ------------------------------ Date: 22 Mar 1999 03:47:50 GMT From: piscopinto@aol.com (PISCOPINTO) Subject: Re: Pisco Puns Tsk Tsk!-o Bandito... who crusades to hush all punsters once and for all... Where can I find the lyrics to "Johnny Saucep'n," "Your New Boyfriend," etc? ~Johnny Saucep'n being the most-requested song lyrics on this newsgroup, here they are in full: Well, he was just some Johnny Saucep'n When he walked into that kitchen And the chef picked up the odor And put down his Solzhenitsyn He said, "Make yourself at home, boy, I just prewarmed all the griddles You got twenty minutes, starting now, To make some gourmet victuals." He's got all the lyrics, insofar as he and others have been able to decipher them, typed in and attributed to the appropriate singer. He's also got lyrics to songs Fruvous has covered in the past (things like "The Mary Ellen Carter" and "Oliver's Army"), early Fruvous songs (such as "The Ballad of Marion Fruvous"), and even lyrics to the songs they put into medleys ("Signed, Sealed, Delivered"). The address, simply enough, is Früvous Dot Com>>> ~~~~~~~~`................so that's it:) hope i helped mike and welcome to the ng! love and raspberry jam on a nilla wafer, ~deb:) ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 21 Mar 1999 22:53:19 -0500 From: Chad Maloney Subject: Re: Upcoming shows? I think there is a show in Syracuse for the day before that (at Styleen's) so a show in Utica the next day would make good sense. Chris still can't update FDC due to server stuff happening at the place that hosts FDC. As soon as he can get access, I'm sure he will update the Tour Dates and various other things to the latest available information. We're just gonna have to be patient and wait. Not that a couple more days wait is gonna make the end of April get any closer[1] *grin* - Chad [1] Well *that* made no sense whatsover but you get the point, right? ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V3 #282 ********************************************
