Degrassi is not just a Canadian show, it is *the quintessential* (big word for the day...) Canadian TV show. OK, that might be exaggerating just a wee bit. Ok, it's exaggerating a whole lot. Degrassi is a whole series of shows that follows a group of kids through Junior High (back when there were a lot of junior highs in Ontario - not so much anymore) and high school (with the aptly named Degrassi High. Woo, the brain power required on that one! :) It's all set in this school in Toronto, so it's really kinda fun to try to figure out where they are. (Kinda like watching "Due South" and knowing full well that the train station they're in is Union Station... or watching Frasier chase bad guys down the streets of Chicago right past the TTC and the local Canadian Tire) But the all time best Degrassi had to be the movie. :) Veronica (was any of that coherent?)
